INFORMATION CENTRE & FAQ
WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
At Joondalup Gate Physiotherapy you will be welcomed by our friendly reception staff in our waiting area, within the main reception of St John’s Medical Centre, and be asked to fill in our new patient information sheet. As we use all electronic notes, we do this on an erasable sheet which we scan into your fileless paper and easy access to all of your notes.
Our Physiotherapists endeavour to always RUN ON TIME, so we try not to keep you waiting.
In your first appointment we will listen to you and conduct a thorough assessment to give you a diagnosis, discuss with you a plan of action to achieve your goal, and begin your treatment. You will leave with a thorough understanding of your condition, a firm plan of action and the confidence you have come to the right place.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU
Although you don’t need a referral to visit us, if you do have one, please bring it with you. If you are visiting following a motor vehicle accident, a workers compensation claim, a DVA claim, a referral under Medicare EPC plan, you will require a referral.
Please bring any scans or test results you have that a relevant to your condition.
If you have private health insurance please bring your membership card with you as you can claim at our reception with HICAPS and only pay the gap.
